![]() ![]() The stencil wizard should be a free download from MS. I also used the MS Visio stencil wizard to try and create some crude drawings, but that project got back burnered (I hate it when that happens). ![]() I did the same thing for a busy server room, Dell, SUN, IBM all have cool looking Visio stencils (even before Visio was Microsoft) and with a few MIBs, I was able to get a read on what was up on the servers from any web based terminal. And I can publish that to the web to show parts in/out. Right click on the object, click properties, and custom properties show up. I've managed to link crude drawings to a SQL backend that I can use as a database for serial number info, and checked in/out status if I ever get into the rental phase. for someone to build a top notch set of stencils. I agree with another poster that this would be lucrative at some level. I've looked around for a long time for some rack stencils, stageplot stuff and such. Jeff, I'm running Visio 2007, SP2 and I've got flowcharting, gant charting, network diagramming, and electrical/electronics layouts in my style sheets.
